वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-53, verse-25

अशोभनं यो ऽहमिहाद्य राघवं दिदृक्षमाणो न लभे सलक्ष्मणम् ।
इतीव राजा विलपन्महायशाः पपात तूर्णं शयने स मूर्छितः ॥२५॥
25. aśobhanaṃ yo'hamihādya rāghavaṃ didṛkṣamāṇo na labhe salakṣmaṇam ,
itīva rājā vilapanmahāyaśāḥ papāta tūrṇaṃ śayane sa mūrchitaḥ.
25. aśobhanam yaḥ aham iha adya rāghavam
didṛkṣamāṇaḥ na labhe salakṣmaṇam

25. How unfortunate that I, wishing to see Raghava with Lakshmana here today, do not find him. Thus, lamenting, the greatly renowned king quickly fell unconscious onto his bed.
