कलीकृत्य स्वषण्निघ्नं स्फुटार्कगतिभाजितम् ।
लब्धंघट्यादिमानं यत् तावान् सूर्योदयात् परम् ॥१५॥

15. kalīkṛtya svaṣaṇnighnaṃ sphuṭārkagatibhājitam .
labdhaṃghaṭyādimānaṃ yat tāvān sūryodayāt param.

15. kalī-kṛtya sva-ṣaṭ-nighnam sphuṭa-arka-gati-bhājitam
labdham ghaṭī-ādi-mānam yat tāvān sūrya-udayāt param

15. Having converted (the difference from the previous verse) into minutes (kalīkṛtya), and multiplied it by six, and then divided by the speed of the true Sun, the resulting value (labdham), which is a measure in units like ghaṭīs (ghaṭyādimāna), indicates that much time after sunrise.
