मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-73, verse-6

एते देवगणाः पञ्च स्मृता यज्ञभुजस्तथा ।
मन्वन्तरे मनुश्रेष्ठे सर्वे द्वादशका गणाः ॥६॥
6. ete devagaṇāḥ pañca smṛtā yajñabhujastathā .
manvantare manuśreṣṭhe sarve dvādaśakā gaṇāḥ.
6. ete devagaṇāḥ pañca smṛtāḥ yajñabhujaḥ tathā
manvantare manuśreṣṭhe sarve dvādaśakāḥ gaṇāḥ
6. These five groups of gods are known as the partakers of Vedic rituals (yajña). Similarly, O best of Manus, all groups (of gods) in a Manvantara are composed of twelve (members each).
