मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-13, verse-7

किमेतदिति चाह्लाद-विस्तारस्तिमितेक्षणैः ।
दृष्टमस्माभिरासन्नं नररत्नमनत्तमम् ॥७॥
7. kimetaditi cāhlāda-vistārastimitekṣaṇaiḥ .
dṛṣṭamasmābhirāsannaṃ nararatnamanattamam.
7. kim etat iti ca āhlāda-vistāra-stimita-īkṣaṇaiḥ
dṛṣṭam asmābhiḥ āsannam nara-ratnam anuttamam
7. “What is this?” – with this thought, and with eyes wide and unmoving due to expanding delight, an unparalleled jewel among men (puruṣa-ratna) was seen by us, approaching near.
