पुरुष उवाच ।
भो याम्यपुरुषाचक्ष्व किं मया दुष्कृतं कृतम् ।
येनेदं यातनाभीम् प्राप्तोऽस्मि नरकं परम् ॥१०॥

bho yāmyapuruṣācakṣva kiṃ mayā duṣkṛtaṃ kṛtam .
yenedaṃ yātanābhīm prāpto'smi narakaṃ param.

The man (puruṣa) said: "O attendant (puruṣa) of Yama, please tell me what evil deed I have committed, by which I have arrived at this terrible hell of torments."
