मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-13, verse-14

पर्वकालेषु पितरस्तिथिकालेषु देवताः ।
पुरुषं स्वयमायान्ति निपानमिव धेनवः ॥१४॥
14. parvakāleṣu pitarastithikāleṣu devatāḥ .
puruṣaṃ svayamāyānti nipānamiva dhenavaḥ.

14. During auspicious times, the ancestors, and during lunar dates (tithi), the deities, spontaneously approach an individual (puruṣa), just as cows come to a watering hole.
