पृथिव्यां चतुरन्तायां प्रतिज्ञेयं कृता मया ॥९॥

I will perform three Vedic rituals (yajña) each time, during the sowing and harvesting seasons, throughout this earth that extends to its four boundaries. This is the solemn vow (pratijñā) I have made.
