राजोवाच ।
तेषां महात्मनां राज्ञां कोऽनुयास्यति मद्विधः ।
तथाप्युत्कृष्टचेतानां चेष्टासूद्यमवान्भवेत् ॥७॥

7. rājovāca .
teṣāṃ mahātmanāṃ rājñāṃ ko'nuyāsyati madvidhaḥ .
tathāpyutkṛṣṭacetānāṃ ceṣṭāsūdyamavānbhavet.

rāja uvāca teṣām mahātmanām rājñām kaḥ anuyāsyati
matvidhaḥ tathā api utkṛṣṭacetānām ceṣṭāsu udyamavān bhavet

The King said: "Who, among kings like me, can possibly follow (the example of) those great souls? Nevertheless, one should indeed be diligent in trying to emulate the deeds of those with such exalted minds."
