मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-108, verse-9

तुष्टाव मित्रावरुणौ वाक्यं चेदमुवाच ह ।
भवत्प्रसादात्तनयो विशिष्टो मे भवेदिति ॥९॥
9. tuṣṭāva mitrāvaruṇau vākyaṃ cedamuvāca ha .
bhavatprasādāttanayo viśiṣṭo me bhavediti.
9. tuṣṭāva mitrāvaruṇau vākyam ca idam uvāca ha
bhavatprasādāt tanayaḥ viśiṣṭaḥ me bhavet iti
9. He praised Mitra and Varuṇa and spoke this statement: 'By your grace, may I have a distinguished son!'
