मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-108, verse-18

न स लेभे महाभागं यतो बुधसुतो हि सः ।
ततो वसिष्ठवचनात्प्रतिष्ठानं पुरोत्तमम् ॥१८॥
18. na sa lebhe mahābhāgaṃ yato budhasuto hi saḥ .
tato vasiṣṭhavacanātpratiṣṭhānaṃ purottamam.
18. na saḥ lebhe mahābhāgam yataḥ budhasutaḥ hi saḥ
tataḥ vasiṣṭhavacanāt pratiṣṭhānam puruttamam
18. He did not obtain a great share, because he was indeed the son of Budha. Then, by the instruction of Vasiṣṭha, he received Pratiṣṭhāna, the chief of cities.
