न स लेभे महाभागं यतो बुधसुतो हि सः ।
ततो वसिष्ठवचनात्प्रतिष्ठानं पुरोत्तमम् ॥१८॥

18. na sa lebhe mahābhāgaṃ yato budhasuto hi saḥ .

He did not obtain a great share, because he was indeed the son of Budha. Then, by the instruction of Vasiṣṭha, he received Pratiṣṭhāna, the chief of cities.
