Drawing his sharpened, very keen-edged sword, and stepping on the neck of the trembling Jayadratha, Bhimasena then tore open the chest of the one fallen on the ground. He drank Jayadratha's lukewarm blood, tasting it repeatedly. As he watched, enraged, he spoke these words with great intensity.
