महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-61, verse-2

ततोऽभिनद्बहुभिः क्षिप्रमेव वरेषुभिर्भीमसेनं महात्मा ।
स विक्षरन्नाग इव प्रभिन्नो गदामस्मै तुमुले प्राहिणोद्वै ॥२॥
2. tato'bhinadbahubhiḥ kṣiprameva; vareṣubhirbhīmasenaṁ mahātmā ,
sa vikṣarannāga iva prabhinno; gadāmasmai tumule prāhiṇodvai.

saḥ vikṣaran nāgaḥ iva prabhinnaḥ

2. Then, the great-souled (mahātmā) prince swiftly pierced Bhimasena with many excellent arrows. Bhima, profusely bleeding like an elephant in rut, then hurled a mace at him in that fierce battle.
