महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-6, verse-6

शकुनिर्बुद्धिपूर्वं हि कुन्तीपुत्रं समाह्वयत् ।
अनक्षज्ञं मताक्षः सन्क्षत्रवृत्ते स्थितं शुचिम् ॥६॥
6. śakunirbuddhipūrvaṁ hi kuntīputraṁ samāhvayat ,
anakṣajñaṁ matākṣaḥ sankṣatravṛtte sthitaṁ śucim.

6. Indeed, Shakuni deliberately challenged Kunti's son, Yudhishthira, who was unskilled in dice. Shakuni, being proficient in dice himself, targeted Yudhishthira, who was pure and steadfast in the duties of a warrior (kṣatriya).
