द्विजेषु वैद्याः श्रेयांसो वैद्येषु कृतबुद्धयः ।
स भवान्कृतबुद्धीनां प्रधान इति मे मतिः ॥२॥

Among the twice-born (dvija), those learned in the Vedas (vaidya) are superior. Among the learned, those with a determined intellect are superior. You, revered sir, are considered foremost among those with determined intellects—this is my firm opinion.
