महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-182, verse-8

किं त्वेवाहं विह्वलः संप्रदृश्य दिग्भ्यः सर्वास्ता महोल्का इवाग्नेः ।
नानारूपास्तेजसोग्रेण दीप्ता यथादित्या द्वादश लोकसंक्षये ॥८॥
8. kiṁ tvevāhaṁ vihvalaḥ saṁpradṛśya; digbhyaḥ sarvāstā maholkā ivāgneḥ ,
nānārūpāstejasogreṇa dīptā; yathādityā dvādaśa lokasaṁkṣaye.
8. kim tu eva aham vihvalaḥ saṃpradṛśya
digbhyaḥ sarvāḥ tāḥ mahāulkāḥ iva
agneḥ | nānārūpāḥ tejasā ugreṇa dīptāḥ
yathā ādityāḥ dvādaśa lokasaṃkṣaye
8. kim tu aham digbhyaḥ sarvāḥ tāḥ mahāulkāḥ agneḥ iva saṃpradṛśya vihvalaḥ eva.
nānārūpāḥ ugreṇa tejasā dīptāḥ (tāḥ) lokasaṃkṣaye dvādaśa ādityāḥ yathā (āsan).
8. However, I became overwhelmed upon seeing all of them from every direction, blazing with fierce energy (tejas) and of various forms, like great fiery meteors or the twelve suns at the dissolution of the worlds.
