महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-182, verse-3

तान्यहं तत्प्रतीघातैरस्त्रैरस्त्राणि भारत ।
व्यधमं तुमुले युद्धे प्राणांस्त्यक्त्वा सुदुस्त्यजान् ॥३॥
3. tānyahaṁ tatpratīghātairastrairastrāṇi bhārata ,
vyadhamaṁ tumule yuddhe prāṇāṁstyaktvā sudustyajān.

vyadhamam tumule yuddhe prāṇān tyaktvā sudustyajān

3. O Bhārata, in that tumultuous battle, I destroyed their weapons (astrāṇi) using my counter-weapons, even abandoning my life (prāṇān), which is exceedingly difficult to give up.
