महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-173, verse-16

नोत्सहेयं पुनर्गन्तुं स्वजनं प्रति तापसाः ।
प्रत्याख्याता निरानन्दा शाल्वेन च निराकृता ॥१६॥
16. notsaheyaṁ punargantuṁ svajanaṁ prati tāpasāḥ ,
pratyākhyātā nirānandā śālvena ca nirākṛtā.
16. na utsaheyam punaḥ gantuṃ svajanam prati tāpasāḥ
pratyākhyātā niraanandā śālvena ca nirākṛtā
16. tāpasāḥ punaḥ svajanam prati gantuṃ na utsaheyam
pratyākhyātā nirānandā ca śālvena nirākṛtā
16. O ascetics, I cannot bear to return to my own people (svajana) again. I have been rejected and rendered joyless, and cast out by Śālva.
