महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-101, verse-26

क्रियतामत्र यत्नो हि प्रीतिमानस्म्यनेन वै ।
अस्य नागपतेर्दातुं प्रियां दुहितरं मुने ॥२६॥
26. kriyatāmatra yatno hi prītimānasmyanena vai ,
asya nāgapaterdātuṁ priyāṁ duhitaraṁ mune.
26. kriyatām atra yatnaḥ hi prītimān asmi anena
vai asya nāgapateḥ dātum priyām duhitaram mune
26. O sage (muni), indeed, let an effort be made in this matter, for I am truly pleased with him (Sumukha). I desire to give my beloved daughter to this king of serpents.
