भीष्म उवाच ।
साधु पश्यति वै द्रोणः कृपः साध्वनुपश्यति ।

sādhu paśyati vai droṇaḥ kṛpaḥ sādhvanupaśyati ,
karṇastu kṣatradharmeṇa yathāvadyoddhumicchati.

Bhishma said: Drona indeed perceives rightly, and Kripa also perceives rightly. But Karna wishes to fight appropriately, in accordance with the warrior's natural law (kṣatradharma).
