महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-14, verse-7

स्त्रियोऽक्षा मृगया पानमेतत्कामसमुत्थितम् ।
व्यसनं चतुष्टयं प्रोक्तं यै राजन्भ्रश्यते श्रियः ॥७॥
7. striyo'kṣā mṛgayā pānametatkāmasamutthitam ,
vyasanaṁ catuṣṭayaṁ proktaṁ yai rājanbhraśyate śriyaḥ.
7. striyaḥ akṣāḥ mṛgayā pānam etat kāmasamutthitam
vyasanam catuṣṭayam proktam yaiḥ rājan bhraśyate śriyaḥ
7. Women, gambling (akṣa), hunting, and drinking – this group of four vices, born from desire (kāma), is declared to be that by which, O King, one's prosperity (śrī) is lost.
