महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-101, verse-13

तेऽभिगम्य महात्मानं मैत्रावरुणिमच्युतम् ।
आश्रमस्थं तपोराशिं कर्मभिः स्वैरभिष्टुवन् ॥१३॥

āśramasthaṁ taporāśiṁ karmabhiḥ svairabhiṣṭuvan.

13. Having approached the great-souled, unswerving son of Mitra and Varuṇa (Agastya), who resided in his hermitage and was a great accumulation of asceticism (tapas), they praised him with their own appropriate actions (karma).

13. הם ניגשו אל מַיטְרָאוַרוּנִי הדגול, אַצ׳ְיוּטַה, אוצר של עוצמה רוחנית, שישב במשכנו, ושיבחו אותו על מעשיו שלו.
