महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-3, verse-8

सदा च प्रातरुत्थाय कृतजप्यः शुचिर्नृपः ।
आशास्ते पाण्डुपुत्राणां समरेष्वपराजयम् ॥८॥
8. sadā ca prātarutthāya kṛtajapyaḥ śucirnṛpaḥ ,
āśāste pāṇḍuputrāṇāṁ samareṣvaparājayam.
8. sadā ca prātaḥ utthāya kṛtajapyaḥ śuciḥ nṛpaḥ
āśāste pāṇḍuputrāṇām samareṣu aparājayam
8. ca nṛpaḥ śuciḥ kṛtajapyaḥ sadā prātaḥ utthāya
pāṇḍuputrāṇām samareṣu aparājayam āśāste
8. And always, rising in the morning, the pure king, after completing his prescribed recitations, wished for the victory of the sons of Pāṇḍu in battles.
