महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-3, verse-11

ब्राह्मणानां च वृद्धानां क्षत्रियाणां च भारत ।
तथा विट्शूद्रसंघानामभवत्सुप्रियस्तदा ॥११॥
11. brāhmaṇānāṁ ca vṛddhānāṁ kṣatriyāṇāṁ ca bhārata ,
tathā viṭśūdrasaṁghānāmabhavatsupriyastadā.
11. brāhmaṇānām ca vṛddhānām kṣatriyāṇām ca bhārata
tathā viṭśūdrasaṅghānām abhavat supriyaḥ tadā
11. bhārata ca brāhmaṇānām ca vṛddhānām ca kṣatriyāṇām
tathā viṭśūdrasaṅghānām tadā supriyaḥ abhavat
11. And, O Bhārata (Dhṛtarāṣṭra), he then became very dear to the Brahmins, the elders, the Kṣatriyas, and likewise to the communities of Vaiśyas and Śūdras.
