महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-20, verse-16

एवं स राजा कौरव्यश्चक्रे दानमहोत्सवम् ।
नटनर्तकलास्याढ्यं बह्वन्नरसदक्षिणम् ॥१६॥
16. evaṁ sa rājā kauravyaścakre dānamahotsavam ,
naṭanartakalāsyāḍhyaṁ bahvannarasadakṣiṇam.

16. In this manner, that Kuru king (Dhṛtarāṣṭra) organized a grand festival of giving (dāna). It was enriched with actors, dancers, and graceful Lāsya performances, and featured ample food, delicious beverages, and generous offerings.
