महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-20, verse-14

एवं स पुत्रपौत्राणां पितॄणामात्मनस्तथा ।
गान्धार्याश्च महाराज प्रददावौर्ध्वदेहिकम् ॥१४॥
14. evaṁ sa putrapautrāṇāṁ pitṝṇāmātmanastathā ,
gāndhāryāśca mahārāja pradadāvaurdhvadehikam.

14. Thus, O great king, he performed the post-mortem rites (aurdhvadehikam) for his sons and grandsons, for his ancestors (pitṛ), for his own self (ātman), and for Gāndhārī.
