महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-14, verse-8

अर्थश्च सुमहान्प्राप्तो येन यक्ष्यामि देवताः ।
पुरस्कृत्येह भवतः समानेष्यामहे मखम् ॥८॥
8. arthaśca sumahānprāpto yena yakṣyāmi devatāḥ ,
puraskṛtyeha bhavataḥ samāneṣyāmahe makham.
8. arthaḥ ca su-mahān prāptaḥ yena yakṣyāmi devatāḥ
puraskṛtya iha bhavataḥ samāneṣyāmahe makham
8. su-mahān arthaḥ ca prāptaḥ yena devatāḥ yakṣyāmi
bhavataḥ iha puraskṛtya makham samāneṣyāmahe
8. A very great wealth has been acquired, by which I shall perform (Vedic rituals) for the gods. Having honored you here, we shall conduct the (Vedic ritual) (makham).
