मृगैर्मृगाणां ग्रहणं पक्षिणां पक्षिभिर्यथा ।
गजानां च गजैरेवं ज्ञेयं ज्ञानेन गृह्यते ॥१२॥

12. mṛgairmṛgāṇāṁ grahaṇaṁ pakṣiṇāṁ pakṣibhiryathā ,

Just as deer are caught by deer, and birds by birds, and similarly elephants are caught by elephants; in the same way, what is to be known (jñeya) is apprehended by knowledge (jñāna).
