ततो मनसि संसज्य पञ्चवर्गं विचक्षणः ।

8. tato manasi saṁsajya pañcavargaṁ vicakṣaṇaḥ ,

8. Thereafter, a discerning person, having fixed the fivefold group (of sense objects) in the mind, should steady the agitated mind along with the five senses.
