महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-50, verse-10

विभावसुश्चित्रभानुर्महात्मा हिरण्यरेता विश्वभुक्कृष्णवर्त्मा ।
प्रदक्षिणावर्तशिखः प्रदीप्तो हव्यं तवेदं हुतभुग्वष्टि देवः ॥१०॥

The god (deva) Agni, who is known as Vibhāvasu (possessing light/wealth), whose flames are brilliant (citrabhānu), the great-souled one (mahā-ātman), who has golden seed (hiraṇyaretas), who consumes all (viśvabhuk), and whose path is dark (kṛṣṇavartman), with intensely blazing (pradīpta) flames whirling clockwise (pradakṣiṇāvarttaśikha) — he desires and consumes this offering (havya) of yours.
