भगवद्गीता       bhagavad-gītā - chapter-5, verse-14

न कर्तृत्वं न कर्माणि लोकस्य सृजति प्रभुः ।
न कर्मफलसंयोगं स्वभावस्तु प्रवर्तते ॥१४॥
14. na kartṛtvaṁ na karmāṇi lokasya sṛjati prabhuḥ ,
na karmaphalasaṁyogaṁ svabhāvastu pravartate.

14. prabhuḥ lokasya kartṛtvaṃ na sṛjati,

14. The Lord (prabhuḥ) does not create doership, nor actions (karma), nor the connection with the fruits of actions (karma) for the world. But it is one's own intrinsic nature (svabhāva) that functions.
