भगवद्गीता       bhagavad-gītā - chapter-14, verse-15

रजसि प्रलयं गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते ।
तथा प्रलीनस्तमसि मूढयोनिषु जायते ॥१५॥
15. rajasi pralayaṁ gatvā karmasaṅgiṣu jāyate ,
tathā pralīnastamasi mūḍhayoniṣu jāyate.

tathā pralīnaḥ tamasi mūḍhayoniṣu jāyate
15. rajasi pralayam gatvā karmasaṅgiṣu जायते

15. If one dies when the quality of rajas is predominant, one is reborn among those who are attached to their actions (karma). Similarly, if one dies when tamas is predominant, one is reborn into the wombs of the deluded or ignorant.
