This individual soul (jīva) creates its "wave-like" existence within the vast ocean of its own cycle of transmigration (saṃsāra). It continues to do so until it truly understands its supreme, flawless intrinsic nature (svabhāva) and realizes its complete identification with that (supreme nature).
