योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-14, verse-23

स्थिरतया सुखभासितया तया सततमुज्ज्ञितमुत्तमफल्गु च ।
जगति नास्ति तथा गुणवर्जितं मरणभाजनमायुरिदं यथा ॥ २३ ॥

jagati nāsti tathā guṇavarjitaṃ maraṇabhājanamāyuridaṃ yathā 23
23. sthiratayā sukhabhāsitayā tayā
satatam ujjhitam uttamaphalgu ca
jagati na asti tathā guṇavarjitam
maraṇabhājanam āyuḥ idam yathā
23. This life, which is constantly abandoned and supremely worthless despite that [illusion of] stability and brilliant happiness, is such that in the world, nothing is so devoid of good qualities and destined for death.
