मुनेस्तु भाषितं श्रुत्वा लक्ष्मणः परवीरहा ।
अभिवाद्य महात्मानं वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह ॥३॥
3. munestu bhāṣitaṃ śrutvā lakṣmaṇaḥ paravīrahā ,
abhivādya mahātmānaṃ vākyametaduvāca ha.
3. muneḥ tu bhāṣitam śrutvā lakṣmaṇaḥ paravīrahā
abhivādya mahātmānam vākyam etat uvāca ha
3. tu lakṣmaṇaḥ paravīrahā muneḥ bhāṣitam śrutvā

3. But Lakshmana, the slayer of enemy heroes, having heard the words of the sage (muni), and having saluted the great-souled one (ātman), indeed spoke this statement.
