वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-46, verse-9

शापितो ऽसि नरेन्द्रेण यत्त्वं संतापमात्मनः ।
तद्ब्रूयाः संनिधौ मह्यमहमाज्ञापयामि ते ॥९॥
9. śāpito'si narendreṇa yattvaṃ saṃtāpamātmanaḥ ,
tadbrūyāḥ saṃnidhau mahyamahamājñāpayāmi te.
9. śāpitaḥ asi narendreṇa yat tvam saṃtāpam ātmanaḥ
tat brūyāḥ saṃnidhau mahyam aham ājñāpayāmi te
9. narendreṇa yat tvam ātmanaḥ saṃtāpam asi śāpitaḥ
tat mahyam saṃnidhau brūyāḥ aham te ājñāpayāmi
9. You have been cursed by the king because you bring distress upon your own self (ātman). Therefore, you should tell me about it in my presence; I command you.
