वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-7, verse-9

अक्षया बलवन्तश्च शूरा लब्धवराः पुनः ।
त्वया संवत्सरं युद्ध्वा समरे दानवा विभो ॥९॥
9. akṣayā balavantaśca śūrā labdhavarāḥ punaḥ ,
tvayā saṃvatsaraṃ yuddhvā samare dānavā vibho.
9. akṣayāḥ balavantaḥ ca śūrāḥ labdha varāḥ punaḥ
tvayā saṃvatsaram yuddhvā samare dānavāḥ vibho
9. O mighty one, the Dānavas, who were indestructible, powerful, valiant, and had received boons, were fought by you for a year in battle (and then conquered).
