वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-49, verse-11

ततः प्लवेनांशुमतीं शीघ्रगामूर्मिमालिनीम् ।
तीरजैर्बहुभिर्वृक्षैः संतेरुर्यमुनां नदीम् ॥११॥
11. tataḥ plavenāṃśumatīṃ śīghragāmūrmimālinīm ,
tīrajairbahubhirvṛkṣaiḥ saṃteruryamunāṃ nadīm.

11. Then, they crossed the Yamuna river by boat. This river was radiant, swift-flowing, and full of waves, with many trees growing along its banks.
