वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-11, verse-11

एवमुक्त्वा ततो राजा कैकेयीं संयताञ्जलिः ।
प्रसादयामास पुनः कैकेयीं चेदमब्रवीत् ॥११॥
11. evamuktvā tato rājā kaikeyīṃ saṃyatāñjaliḥ ,
prasādayāmāsa punaḥ kaikeyīṃ cedamabravīt.
11. evam uktvā tataḥ rājā kaikeyīm saṃyatāñjaliḥ
prasādayāmāsa punaḥ kaikeyīm ca idam abravīt
11. Rājā evam uktvā,
tataḥ saṃyatāñjaliḥ (san) punaḥ Kaikeyīm prasādayāmāsa,
ca idam abravīt (tām Kaikeyīm).
11. Having spoken thus, the king, with joined palms (saṃyatāñjaliḥ), then again sought to appease Kaikeyi and spoke this to her.
