बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-51, verse-5

कृत्वाऽर्कधा राशिदशां राशेर्भुक्तिं क्रमाद् वदेत् ।
प्रत्यन्तर्दशाद्येवं कृत्वा तत्तत्फलं वदेत् ॥५॥
5. kṛtvā'rkadhā rāśidaśāṃ rāśerbhuktiṃ kramād vadet .
pratyantardaśādyevaṃ kṛtvā tattatphalaṃ vadet.
5. kṛtvā arka-dhā rāśi-daśām rāśeḥ bhuktim kramāt vadet
| prati-antar-daśā-ādi evam kṛtvā tat-tat-phalam vadet
5. After dividing the sign's period (rāśi-daśā) into twelve parts, one should sequentially declare the sub-periods (bhukti) for that sign. Similarly, having calculated the sub-sub-periods (pratyantardaśā) and further divisions, one should declare their respective outcomes.
