बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-51, verse-16

दशाब्दाः पृथगंशघ्ना अंशयोगविभाजिताः ।
अन्तर्दशा भवन्त्येवं तत्प्रत्यन्तर्दशादिकाः ॥१६॥
16. daśābdāḥ pṛthagaṃśaghnā aṃśayogavibhājitāḥ .
antardaśā bhavantyevaṃ tatpratyantardaśādikāḥ.
16. daśābdāḥ pṛthak aṃśaghnāḥ aṃśayogavibhājitāḥ |
antardaśā bhavanti evam tat pratyantardaśā ādikāḥ
16. The years of the daśā (planetary period), multiplied by the individual shares (of planets) and divided by the sum of shares, thus become the sub-periods (antardaśā), and so on for the sub-sub-periods (pratyantardaśā) and so forth.
