ससौरे सकुजे वापि लग्ने मेषे वृषे हरौ ।
राश्यंशसदृशौ गात्रे स जातो नालविष्टितः ॥८॥

8. sasaure sakuje vāpi lagne meṣe vṛṣe harau .
rāśyaṃśasadṛśau gātre sa jāto nālaviṣṭitaḥ.

8. sasauraḥ sakujaḥ vā api lagne meṣe vṛṣe harau
rāśyaṃśasadṛśau gātre sa jātaḥ na ālavisṭitaḥ

8. If the ascendant (lagna) is Aries (Meṣa), Taurus (Vṛṣa), or Leo (Hari) and it contains Saturn or Mars, then the physical body resembles the characteristics of that sign and its subdivisions (aṃśa), and the person is born without the umbilical cord wrapped around them.
