If a malefic planet (pāpa) is situated in a specific limb (aṅga), one should predict a wound there. But when (the limb is influenced by) both malefics (krūra) and benefics (saumya), including Mercury (budha), then the learned (astrologer) should certainly predict a mark (lakṣma).
