मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-83, verse-7

तस्याः खड्गो भुजं प्राप्य पफाल नृपनन्दन ।
ततो जग्राह शूलं स कोपादरुणलोचनः ॥७॥
7. tasyāḥ khaḍgo bhujaṃ prāpya paphāla nṛpanandana .
tato jagrāha śūlaṃ sa kopādaruṇalocanaḥ.
7. tasyāḥ khaḍgaḥ bhujam prāpya paphāla nṛpa-nandana
tataḥ jagrāha śūlam saḥ kopāt aruṇa-locanaḥ
7. O son of a king, his sword shattered upon striking her arm. Then, with eyes reddened from rage, he seized a spear.
