मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-83, verse-13

ततः सिंहः समुत्पत्य गजकुम्भान्तरे स्थितः ।
बाहुयुद्धेन युयुधे तेनोच्चैस्त्रिदशारिणा ॥१३॥
13. tataḥ siṃhaḥ samutpatya gajakumbhāntare sthitaḥ .
bāhuyuddhena yuyudhe tenoccaistridaśāriṇā.

13. Then, the lion, having sprung up and positioned himself on the elephant's forehead, fought fiercely in arm-to-arm combat with that enemy of the gods.
