मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-83, verse-35

ननर्द चासुरः सोऽपि बलवीर्यमदोद्धतः ।
विषाणाब्याञ्च चिक्षेप चण्डिकां प्रति भूधरान् ॥३५॥
35. nanarda cāsuraḥ so'pi balavīryamadoddhataḥ .
viṣāṇābyāñca cikṣepa caṇḍikāṃ prati bhūdharān.
35. nanarda ca asuraḥ saḥ api bala-vīrya-mada-uddhataḥ
viṣāṇābhyām ca cikṣepa caṇḍikām prati bhūdharān
35. And that demon, swollen with pride from his strength and valor, also roared. Then, with his two horns, he hurled mountains at Chaṇḍikā.
