मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-83, verse-17

देवी क्रुद्धा गदापातैश्चूर्णयामास चोद्धतम् ।
वाष्कलं भिन्दिपालेन बाणैस्ताम्रं तथान्धकम् ॥१७॥
17. devī kruddhā gadāpātaiścūrṇayāmāsa coddhatam .
vāṣkalaṃ bhindipālena bāṇaistāmraṃ tathāndhakam.
17. devī kruddhā gadāpātaiḥ cūrṇayāmāsa ca uddhatam |
vāṣkalam bhindipālena bāṇaiḥ tāmram tathā andhakam
17. The enraged Goddess crushed Uddhata with blows from her mace. She struck Vāṣkala with a bhindipāla, and Tāmra as well as Andhaka with arrows.
