यस्मिन् यस्मिन्ममासक्ता बुद्धिः पुंसः प्रजायते ।
ततस्ततः समादाय दुः खान्येव प्रयच्छति ॥३॥

When a person's intellect (buddhi) becomes attached to something, from that very thing it then gathers and bestows only sorrow.
