एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुं कथ्यमानं तपोधनाः ॥३॥

3. rāma uvāca ,
kimarthaṁ kuruṇā kṛṣṭaṁ kṣetrametanmahātmanā ,
etadicchāmyahaṁ śrotuṁ kathyamānaṁ tapodhanāḥ.
