चापमण्डलमेवास्य विस्फुरद्दिक्ष्वदृश्यत ।
तमो घ्नतः सुदीप्तस्य सवितुर्मण्डलं यथा ॥१७॥

17. His bow's circumference (cāpamaṇḍala), indeed, was seen flashing in all directions, just like the brilliantly radiant disc of the sun (savituḥ maṇḍalam) dispelling darkness.
