ज्ञातिसंक्षयकर्तृत्वाद्ब्राह्मण्यं न लभन्ति वै ॥६॥

These kṣatriyas, who are merciless and devourers of serpents, do not attain the status of a brahmin (brāhmaṇya) due to their actions (karma) of destroying their kinsmen.
